1+2 Warranty information.
Festool and Protool tools come with a 1+2 warranty. One year by default, and another 2 years if you complete the extended warranty registration within 30 days from receipt of your new tool.

All Festool and Protool products that can be registered for the extended warranty are clearly marked with the 1+2 logo on the tool packaging, the carton has an identification sticker denoting machine type and serial number. Typically this is all power tools and major accessories. Please register your tool within 30 days from receipt of your new tool.
After the successful registration of your tool you will receive a 1+2 warranty confirmation letter which can be shown to your Festool/Protool Service Agent in case of repair. Click here to download the warranty information document.
Warranty period.
All our customers receive our tools with a normal 12 month manufacturer warranty which is independent from any other agreements. This 1-year warranty can be extended by additional 2 years to a total warranty period of 3 years (1+2) if you return the correctly completed warranty registration form to Festool within 30 days after the date of purchase.
Nature of warranty.
All defects resulting from faults in material or fabrication will be fixed free of charge during the warranty period. Festool also meets transport costs both to and from the Service Agent.
Warranty claim.
Should you ever need to make a claim under warranty, we recommend that you present a copy of the purchase receipt together with your warranty registration confirmation letter, to your Festool/Protool dealer or contact TTS directly.
Warranty on Product purchased outside of Australia/New Zealand.
Warranty only applies to product purchased by you inside Australia or New Zealand from authorised Festool dealers.
Repair warranty.
Any tool parts replaced under a warranty claim are guaranteed for 6 months from the date of the warranty repair.

If you need to make a warranty claim, please complete this online repair form.
Then what happens:
- A courier will be arranged to pick up your tool.
- Have it fixed by Festool Service Department or one of their authourised service centres around the country,
- Festool's target turn around time for warranty repairs is just 24 hours.
- It will be returned to you by courier.
* Warranty repairs courier costs will be paid for by the manufacturer. Non-warranty repair courier costs may be added to your invoice.
