Earn store credit - dollars not points!
No complex reward points system where you needs lots of points to earn anything. At Ideal Tools you earn store credit directly, so you know exactly what real world value you are earning when you shop with us, and what you can use it for.
When shopping.
Purchasing most products earns you thank you credit. How many credits is based on the order total.
When contributing a user tip.
Have a user tip worth sharing? All accepted user tips earn you an 'good on-ya' credit.
When registering.
Just by registering gets you started and earns you a hello credit.
When referring us to a friend.
Go to your My Account, My Referrals page. From this page you can send a referral email to a friend, and earn credit when they register at our store, and you even credit if they make a purchase from us.
How it works.
Register and log in.
You must register to set up an store account. You need to be logged in to ensure credits are allocated to your account. You can register or login here and earn a hello credit.
What's a credit?
A credit can be used during checkout to reduce the order total by the credit amount. Credits are an Ideal Tools virtual currency and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Do they expire?
Yes, credits expire one year after they are earned, you can see the expiry date in your My Account: My Credit and Rewards page. We want you to use your earned credit, so we will send you two emails prior to your credit expiration.
Send credit to a friend.
Want to consolidate of gift credits? You can by sending them to a friend or friends. A great feature for clubs and associations where members want to donate their credits to their organisation. You do this in your My Account: My Credit and Rewards page.
Gifts and refunds.
Gift vouchers and refunds may be issued as credit and are subject to expire like all other credits.
Terms and Condition
Ideal Tools rewards and credit programs are subject to change and/or be cancelled at our discretion. Any credit already held by customers prior to changes or cancellation would of course be honoured. Credits are Ideal Tools virtual currency and can only be used to order products and services at Ideal Tools stores and are not redeemable/exchangeable for cash.
